Step4: Enter electrical average power factor

Most electrical equipment (like inductive heater, everything with AC motors) are inductive in nature, resulting in reactive power (kVAR) consumption by these components. If a building has a high inductive load, it increases reactive demand on the grid; hence the utilities charge the customer for having a high reactive load. Power factor is used to quantify the reactive power (kVAR) as a function of real power (kW).
Typical PF is between 0.70 and 0.85.
