Managing Scenarios

It is possible to have multiple alternative scenarios defined within a single model. This allows for experimentation with different combinations of measures to determine which can offer the best result, and also allows the results (.aps) files from each scenario to be compared against one another using VistaPro – this is because the results are all stored in the original source project’s Vista directory.
Where multiple scenarios exist, they will all be listed within the Scenario dropdown. The active scenario is always displayed with a tick - if there’s no scenario active, Prescribed Measures will be ticked. To activate a scenario, simply select its item in the menu.
When a scenario is selected in Section 63 it will automatically become active if VE Compliance is entered for a model in Section 63 simulation mode – likewise, it will be automatically deactivated by switching to a different module, regulation or simulation mode.
