Linear non-repeating bridge lengths for window openings are sub-classified into sill, jamb and lintel transitions. For rooflights a kerb transition only is utilised.
For orthogonal windows sill, jamb and lintel are easily defined. For multi-sided windows a convention (based on 45o from the x-y plane) is employed to determine sill, jamb and lintels.
