2.4.8 Step 8. Edit Room Data

When creating Room Templates it is important to understand which Room Template settings will be used in VE Compliance, which are overridden by standard activity-based settings, and which are editable.

Mechanical supply in this room? should be ticked if the room is served by a mechanical ventilation air supply. This invokes auxiliary energy calculations applied at room level.

Local mechanical exhaust in this room? should be ticked if the room has mechanical extract. This invokes auxiliary energy calculations applied at room level.

Scope of extract system feeds into the auxiliary energy calculation. Select as appropriate from the options ‘Fan within zone’, ‘Fan remote from zone’ and ‘Fan remote from zone with grease filter’.
