The Tabular BTM window is a modeless window, meaning you can have it open whilst still being able to interact with the rest of the Virtual Environment.
To display the window in the supported modules, you can either:
Select the Tabular BTM item from the View menu on the main Virtual Environment menu-bar, or use the Ctrl+Shift+M keyboard shortcut.
Click the Tabular BTM button on the Application toolbar.
Tabular BTM Nodes
The Tabular BTM supports all six template types; Room Attributes, Apache Constructions, Macroflo Openings, Thermal Conditions, Electric Lighting and Radiance Surfaces. Each of these template types has an associated mode in the Tabular BTM. A mode allows you to view and edit all templates of a particular type and perform template type specific actions.
The image above shows the Tabular BTM in Thermal Conditions mode. A single list displays Thermal Conditions templates for all space sub-types (Room, Void, Return Air Plenum and Supply Air Plenum). The ordering of the tabs and parameters is under user control – see 3.4 Configuring Columns and Tabs – and may not match the ordering in the BTM.
The image below shows the Tabular BTM in Room Attributes mode. Here as well the layout of columns is designed to match the layout of attributes in the standard BTM.
You will notice that changing mode will change the available buttons on the toolbar and actions on the menu. The buttons and actions available are explained in the Toolbar section and Menu-bar section, respectively.
There are two methods for changing modes; using the links in the side panel and actions on the View menu. These are explained in the Side Panel section and the View menu, respectively. Use the search facility to view this in more detail.
