The custom installation is intended to be used with cosimulation capabilities. It allows a third-party program or tool to model the installation's behaviour and pass it to the IVN. Refer to section 3.12.5 for further details.

The ID number of each Custom installation is unique and used for simulation. The name is not used by the simulation engine, but should be used to give the object meaningful identification within the project.
The Commodity multiplier is the factor by which all metered demand and generation values are multiplied.
