CHP assets provide electricity and heat by burning a fuel. CHP assets connect to two nodes so that they can only meet the demand for electricity or heat (not both) with the other commodity generated as a useful by-product.

The ID number of each CHP object is unique and used for simulation. The name is not used by the simulation engine, but should be used to give the object meaningful identification within the project.
Users can define a custom CHP, or may select from a list of pre-defined options. If defining a custom CHP, the input values described below will need to be defined. Pre-defined options are as follows:
