Tidal power assets provide electricity by harvesting kinetic energy from a water stream. The energy that can be harvested by a Tidal power asset depends on the speed of the associated tidal stream.

The ID number of each Tidal power object is unique and used for simulation. The name is not used by the simulation engine, but should be used to give the object meaningful identification within the project.
Users can define a custom Tidal power object, or may select from a list of pre-defined options. If defining a custom Tidal power object, the input values described below will need to be defined. Pre-defined options are as follows:
