The simulation hub project tool allows users to run building energy simulations and network simulations. Energy simulations use an extruded geometric model, referenced templates and design options for evaluating building energy use. Network simulations calculate the hierarchical energy demand aggregation and supply allocation model in the 2D iVN (level 1) network, including the performance of the installations and 2D infrastructure (level 2) network.
For a simulation to be performed, the tick-box by the simulation option must be selected (see Figure 3-50) and the selected buildings (for energy simulations) or Network sub-heading (for iVN simulations) must be selected in the object browser (see Section 3.9).
