ApacheSim – Compliance

To trigger a simulation the user selects the “Part F compliance” [button].

Upon completion of simulation the Results tab displays an overview of results. Results are based on the calculation methodology defined within the Gibraltar 2024 NCM modelling guide.

Note: In line with Gibraltar 2024 NCM modelling guide, electricity generator is classed in the following forms:

With regards to On and Off-site electricity generation, the below text is taken from the Gibraltar Part F (2007) NCM modelling guide:
“Paragraph 113 - When assessing compliance with Building Rules, the headline BER will include only the on-site renewables. The compliance report will, however, also indicate the effective BER which would have been achieved if the off-site renewables were taken into account. This effective BER is expected normally to be the value compared with the TER for compliance purposes.”

Simulation outputs can be viewed via the Building Compliance > View Results Folder.

Selection of the “View Compliance Doc” [button] launches the compliance report document. Below is an example of page 1 of the Building Controls Checks document generated as part of the Gibraltar Part F (2007) compliance simulation.
