15.5. BRE 209 Appendix G daylight factor results:

Summer & winter simulations will be carried out and on completion two WPD results files will be available in the WP Grid tab.

As per G2.8 each result file should be assessed separately:

Determine the target daylight factor as BS EN 17037 for the space;
Select the summer file;
Select DF from results;
Drop down one level of decomposition in the viewer (space);
Enter a single threshold on the tab, unselect the other thresholds;
Set AOI;
Check % area greater than the daylight factor threshold;
Repeat with the winter file;
G2.8 requires at least 50% of the assessment area to exceed the threshold for both summer and winter results for the space to be considered adequate.
