If none of the prescriptive improvement measures are applicable to the building (i.e. all seven measures are marked as N in the Valid column), there are no improvement targets for Section 63 -both Target emission savings and Target energy savings are zero, meaning no improvement is required. The party commissioning the report should be advised that no action beyond lodgement of the final Action Plan is needed to comply with the regulations.
Prior to lodgement, you must return to the Section 63 tab in Building & System Data and set the following:
1. Enter the current date into the Planned completion date of the Section 63 action plan field
2. Tick the Has the Section 63 action plan been completed? option
3. Enter the current date into the Actual completion date of the Section 63 action plan field
With these values changed, click OK to close Building & System Data and then click the Generate Action Plan button again – once completed, the final Action Plan can be lodged on the central register (see Appendix C: Lodging on the Scottish EPC Register for details). Note: there is no need to create an alternative scenario in this case.
