In addition to the point regarding ‘Volumes assigned?’ the volumes of ceiling voids need to be considered as well. It is a common issue that these volumes are missed when exporting from the main BIM design model. A decision has to be made whether to account for them within your file exported from your BIM model or to create them within the VE ‘Quarantine Area‘ using the ‘missing spaces’ tool or the ‘ceiling voids’ tool once in the VE within the ‘ModelIT’ module. If these volumes are to be exported from the BIM model, then a room/space/zone has to be placed for them like any other volumes within your BIM model.
