Where the building uses a boiler that is over 15 years old, you should check the Apache System the represents the boiler to mark it as such. This is done by opening Apache Systems, selecting the appropriate system and then clicking the UK NCM Wizard button. This will open the system wizard – on the Heating system tab, tick the Is boiler over 15 years old? (Section 63 only) checkbox if appropriate:
This setting should be appropriately set for all Apache Systems that are used in the model.
