The About section provides access to the version information of the software, as well as providing options to view information on third-party libraries it makes use of and to view the end-user licence agreement (EULA) and system troubleshooting information.
Selecting the About VE… item from the Help menu will now open the Start Page with this section active.
In addition to displaying the version information for the software, buttons are provided to allow the following functions to be accessed:
- Credits…: This will open a separate window with a list of third-party software library credits used as part of the VE.
- View Licence Agreement…: This will display the end-user licence agreement for the VE in your default rich-text format (.RTF) file editor (typically, this will open either WordPad or Microsoft Word).
- System Information…: This will display the Troubleshooting window, allowing access to information on the VE licencing set-up and generating full system reports for IES Technical Support.
To return to the normal VE interface from the About section, press the ESC key or click the Arrow at the top-left of the window (see Closing the Start Page for details).
