Components are created using the Component Modeller and assigned to zones in ModelIT (see the documentation on these modules for more information).
The Enable Components icon, or the Use Components? checkbox is used to activate the use of components in RadianceIES simulations. The options available in the Switching section allow you to switch all components in the model on or off, or to switch all components in a selected space on or off.
A list of all components placed in the selected space will be displayed, and individual components can be switched on or off using the Show/Hide buttons.
The components are also seen in the model view for a selected space if the user has selected Component mode at the Space level of decomposition.
The Summary button generates a window detailing what components are defined in the model and their status. You can Copy it to a clipboard or Save it to a .bmp file.
