This function can also be activated from the Calculations drop-down menu – seeSection10.1: Solar Shading for Apachefor more information. It is also triggered when running a dynamic simulation in ApacheSim if the option to include SunCast is checked, and the calculations have not yet been run within SunCast for the current geometry. Note it is best practice to run SunCast before running ApacheSim because if there is an existing shading file, it will be used in the simulation and it will not be automatically updated after geometry changes.
