This calculation uses SunCast’s generated hourly solar shadingdata to produce the exposure results in hours and percentage of available hours for the specified period.
Calculation (for each external surface):
1.Summate the hourly percentage area values. ∑(% area) => Hours
2.Optionally then convert the value to % available. (Hours ÷ Available Hours) × 100
