Available processing profile allows selection of a profile from the database to define the availability of the Electric Heat Pump due to manual operation. If a schedule is not required, the profile should be defined as “on continuously”.
COP curve
A COP curve defines the coefficient of performance of the Electric Heat Pump as a function of the Capacity. Capacity values should be entered as a proportion of the maximum capacity. A COP Curve Editor is accessed by double clicking on the COP curve input value, then selecting the edit button that appears in the field.
Capacity
Capacity is the maximum amount of heat that can be transferred using the heat pump. If the required heating exceeds the Capacity, the heat capacity not addressed by the Electric Heat Pump is calculated by the energy manager.
Electricity consumption metered
The Electricity consumption metered option allows the user to determine whether the electricity consumption of the Electric Heat Pump should be considered as part of the network. If the box is checked (the condition is true), it is assumed that the electricity consumed by the Electric Heat Pump has already been included in a general electricity demand meter.
