Through the constants page you can define named constants that can be used in channel expressions . These are useful when multiple channels use the same constant allowing a global change to be applied to all the channels using the constant.
Constants are shown and configured in a tablular view.
Name
Display name of the constant. Click on the Name value of a constant to change the name. Must be unique within the Building value.
Value
Numerical value. Click on the value column of a constant to define the value of the constant. Only numeric values can be entered. Note: uses decimal points only.
Units
Unit of the value. Click on the unit column of a constant to define appropriate units for that constant. Not currently used.
