Schematic Geometry Wizard
The Schematic Geometry Wizard sub-section can be used to create a new project containing a default building that you have pre-configured. This offers a fast and intuitive way of creating early-stage geometry for projects, based around a set of basic footprint shapes and configurable options.
The Schematic Geometry Wizard group is split into three sections:
- Building Footprint & Orientation: Allows the footprint shape of the building to be selected and the dimension sizes adjusted, as well as allowing configuration of perimeter zoning within the building and selecting the site rotation.
- Storeys & Roof: Allows configuration of the number of storeys that the building should have, as well as optionally allowing for a ceiling space and/or floor space on each storey. It also offers options for configuring a roof for the building, if desired.
- External Glazing: Allows for the addition of external glazing to each storey of the building, based upon the facing direction of each external wall.
