Import geometry and all data

Geometry + all data

This option imports all geometry and all data (including data currently not assigned to any space) from a BIM model.

Notes:

This option has the same effect as selecting ‘Use merge wizard’, selecting all spaces for import, ticking the Geometry and Data columns and selecting all data items in each of the subsequent tabs.

Geometry + simple assignment

This option takes the user through the VE ‘Set Model Properties’ dialogue, which is a simplified quick method of applying ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) template data on import to the VE.
