Room grouping
Indalo® materials need to be assigned to all surfaces in each room. To make this task as efficient as possible VE room grouping is utilised.
An IAQ room grouping schema is created in the VE if a schema does not already exist. The user can extend the groups in the schema and edit group names. The room grouping is used for:
- Identifying the spaces to be simulated by Indalo.
- Grouping the spaces to be simulated into material assignment groups for ease of data entry. It is up to the user how many spaces are added to each room group and thus set the resolution & time involved in assigning material data.
The user should ensure that all rooms with active interconnections (walls, floors, openings) are included in active room groups and thus are simulated.
