Equipment Oversizing

NECB-2017 Article 8.4.4.8
 
The heating equipment of the reference building shall be modeled as being oversized by the lesser of
  1. the percentage of oversizing applied to the proposed building, or
  2. 30%.
 
The cooling equipment of the reference building shall be modeled as being oversized by the lesser of
  1. the percentage of oversizing applied to the proposed building, or
  2. 10%.
 
The reference systems provided in the HVAC library have the 30% and 10% oversizing factors applied by default. The user should check that these are appropriate by referencing the rules detailed above.
