The integration of ArmstrongTemplok Ceilingtiles into the VE provides a fast, streamlined and easy-to-use method of simulating the effect of phase change materials within your VE building model.
Armstrong Templok is a suspended ceiling tile that includes a PCM material layer on the plenum-side surface. Armstrong Templok ceiling tiles are part of a standard Armstrong suspended ceiling system.
This is catered for in the VE by providing a new sub surface type, Surface Tile. This facilitates the assignment of the PCM tile to ceiling surfaces and allows for association between the surface and the PCM construction.
