5.2 SyntaxError: Non-UTF-8 code

This type of syntax error is due to the use of extended characters beyond the basic ASCII character set. Currently the VE Python API is not compatable with the use of characters such as:

· Accented characters

· Symbols

· Non-Latin scripts
