Title 24 2022 introduces a new concept of 'Predominant Scheduled Group'. This applies to the situation where thermal zones are used but the spaces within have different template types and hence different scheduling based on Appendix 5.4 A, The schedules are updated to apply schedules from the predominant schedule group to all spaces contained within the thermal zone. The predominant schedule group for the thermal zone is determined by the schedule group associated with the largest floor area of the thermal zone.
