The heating equipment of the reference building shall be modelled as being oversized by the lesser of
a)the percentage of oversizing applied to the proposed building, or
b)30%.
The cooling equipment of the reference building shall be modelled as being oversized by the lesser of
a)the percentage of oversizing applied to the proposed building, or
b)10%.
The reference systems provided in the HVAC library have the 30% and 10% oversizing factors applied by default. The user should check that these are appropriate by referencing the rules detailed above.
