Load priority with compressor power

The total zone heating load vs. total zone cooling load, with VRF compressor power taken into account, is used is used to determine the operating mode as either cooling or heating. For example, if the heating and cooling loads associated with all indoor units on the system were equal, but the current conditions (e.g., cold outdoor temperature) would result in greater compressor power to meet the heating loads, the outdoor unit would operate in heating mode.
When there are simultaneous heating and cooling loads for indoor units on the system, heat recovery will transfer heat rejected by indoor units operating in cooling to those indoor units operating in heating mode, thus offsetting some heating load. This is  always true, unless prevented via the Profile control option.
