VE2018 includes new functionality that allows users to create DHW zones and assign rooms to these zones. This then allows DHW loads to be assigned on a zone basis as well as a room-by-room basis.
Firstly, DHW zones have to be created. A default DHW zone exists called ‘DHW Zone 1’ and all rooms are placed in this zone by default.
Users can add zones via the ‘Add DHW Zone’ action from the left hand menu of the DHW zones tab edit view. The properties of the zones can then be edited e.g. names, etc.
